The Louisiana Renaissance Festival is delighted to welcome new acts to the stages of the Kingdom. Each one has been carefully selected to entertain and amaze.

Shows
With dozens of shows and demonstrations, it is guaranteed that you will be amazed by our cast of highly trained professional performers, each tasked with providing an exciting day of entertainment and adventure.

Acadian Circus
Like the traveling performers during the Renaissance era, The Acadian Circus brings acrobatics, aerial arts, fire flow, and more to the Village of Albright. November 24 - 26, December 2 - 3, December 9 - 10.

Adamo Ignis
Adamo Ignis means ‘to love flame’, exactly what you’ll do when you see the hot stunts in this show! Adamo Ignis continues our oldest tradition of gathering to the flame, but with elements of danger and dance. Join her for fire eating, fire breathing, fire dancing, and more. November 18 - 19 and November 24 - 26.

Andrew McKee
A storyteller and weaver of dreams in the grand Celtic tradition, this Irish bard brings to life a céilí atmosphere with music and stories for one and all. All 6 weekends

Beth Patterson
Singer-songwriter Beth Patterson will entertain you with Celtic, traditional, and original music, accompanied by her bouzouki, a traditional instrument that is a member of the long-necked lute family.

Burbage and the Bard
The legendary playwright and his greatest actor are here, and there's nothing you can do about it! This silly, singing, sensuous version of the Shakespeare you know and love - and his "close personal friend" Richard Burbage - will have you giggling, snorting, and maybe even singing along! Don't miss the chance to tell your English teacher that you heard Willy Shakes say naughty words with Burbage and The Bard! November 4 - 5, November 11 - 12.

Captain Francis Drake
Captain Francis Drake has returned to England after his voyage around the world! This daring rogue is known for his bold exploits, magnificent voyages, and plundering of Spanish ships. All in the name of Her Majesty the Queen, of course. With a thirst for life and a love of all things new and novel, expect to find him exploring every corner of the village and sampling every ware he can! There all six weekends.

Chaste Treasure
Definitely a treasure, but questionably chaste, Chaste Treasure will delight your senses through song, with tight harmonies, and a lot of double entendre.

Constance Panderwell
Mayor's Wife Constance “Connie” Panderwell, the charming better half of the Righte & Honourable Lord Mayor William Panderwell, often found frequenting the boutiques of Albright to stimulate the local economy, is once again looking to fill various Council positions and find the perfect hat. There all 6 weekends.

Count du Monette
Count du Monette is a Frenchman, but we have not figured out what he does or why he is here in our bustling village of Albright. Maybe you can help! If you see Count du Monette on his enjoyable daily stroll, soften him up with a compliment, and then try to learn more about him. You'll have to be sneaky, though -- if Count du Monette suspects you are on a fact-finding mission, he will adeptly dodge your questions. He will, however, be happy to instruct you on the proper pronunciation of your name. There all six weekends.

Cy the Sword Swallower
A man of skill, a man of danger, and some would say.... a complete lunatic! Cy is a master of the blade. Witness him swallow a whole armory of swords of different shapes and sizes ranging from the smallsword to the curved scimitar. Easily the most heavily armed variety show. November 4 - 5, November 11 - 12.

Falconry Show
Falconer Kitty Carroll shares her message of appreciation for the natural world through birds of prey and the fascination they inspire. In this demonstration, you'll watch free-flying raptors while learning about their hunting methods, food preferences, and more. All 6 weekends.

Foxy Bard and Twig
Foxy and Twig have a song for just about everyone – Irish drinking tunes, songs in languages from around the world, and, for some reason, a song about chickens. Want something different? They can make up a song on the fly just for you. Enjoy a drink with the premiere chaos bards! All 6 weekends.

Haggis Rampant
Enjoy the traditional sounds of Scotland with this bagpipe and drum group. Harmonies are their specialty, with rhythms to keep pace with your heartbeat as they alternate ancient tunes with modern ones. It’s a family show, because they’re related! And they hardly ever bicker… November 11 - 12, November 24 - 26, December 9 - 10.

Haller Glassblowing
Watch master glassblower Mark Haller as he creates off-hand blown glass while entertaining you with details about the technique, as well as his personal journey with this ancient art. Questions are encouraged! There all six weekends.

Harry Roullier
Dating back close to a thousand years, the hurdy-gurdy is not seen much in the United States. Harry plays music from the 12th century up to the present and has learned from teachers in France and England. It has a unique sound you won't want to miss! There all six weekends.

Jacques Ze Whipper
The French can be so romantic and mysterious...add a flaming whip, and ooouh-la-la. Jacques hold the Guinness World Record for most bullwhip cracks in one minute (278!), and recently appeared on America's Got Talent. November 11-12, November 18-19.

Jamison the Juggler
Comedy juggling with audience participation, featuring fire, knives and surprises. November 24 - 26, December 2 - 3, December 9 - 10.

Jim Mackenzie
Jim Mackenzie has been keeping vaudeville alive since 1985 and continues to add new original routines to the act. He learned to juggle at a young age from his dad. He picked up sword swallowing and other skills along the way, taught himself violin and put it all in a comedy show that is a favorite with audiences around the country. Experience in-the-moment comedy and amazing original feats. December 2 - 3, December 9 - 10.

Joust
Only those of noble birth were allowed to compete in the joust, a combat using lances on horseback. Demonstrated twice a day at our Joust Arena. There all six weekends.

Judas and Magnolia
Judas and Magnolia are a husband and wife team of escape artists and illusionists who have performed around the globe. Through comedy, suspense, and abundant audience participation the pair work to tell fantastical narratives and bring crowds to the edges of their seats with death-defying stunts. Judas and Magnolia hope to inspire their audiences to “live their very best lives” by being living examples of courage and love. All 6 weekends.

Lord Mayor William Panderwell
The newly-elected Righte & Honourable Lord Mayor William “Willie” Panderwell takes his municipal duties less seriously than his social and acquisitional interests, and can be seen in the lanes of Albright, stumping for votes and schmoozing the tourists. Various Council and Alderman positions are available for generous campaign donors. There all six weekends.

Lords of Adventure
The clashing of swords, the pursuit of true love, and…a hula skirt? The Lords of Adventure put on a comedy sword fighting show that is fun for all ages. Join Roger Awesome and Jack Bold and discover your own inner adventurer! All 6 weekends.

Mad Erik
The closer you get the better the magic. Mad Erik is unbelievably fantastic fun. Dare we say it is magical? There all six weekends.

Meadow Perry
Meadow Perry is a magician, bubble artist, and actress who creates breathtakingly beautiful magic out of thin air. Discover true wonder as this sorceress of soap bubbles takes the rules of bubbles outside the box and takes you on an elegant journey exploring the soapy secrets that bubbles hold. November 4 - 5, November 11 - 12.

Mythic Madness
Swords and sorcery come together in Mythic Madness, where Minerva and Mythos use martial magic in their never ending battle for power and vengeance! November 4 - 5.
